The Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI), led by President Yeong-Soo Han, hosted a commemorative plaque unveiling ceremony on Tuesday, March 4, to mark the renovation of its main lobby on the first floor. The event was held as part of an internal spatial innovation initiative aimed at enhancing communication and collaboration across departments. In conjunction with the renovation, the Institute also held its ‘E.S.G. Balancing Day’ to promote sustainable and eco-friendly management practices.
The newly renovated lobby has been transformed into an open, café-style space, designed to foster informal discussion and cooperation among staff members.
During the plaque unveiling ceremony, KLRI personnel gathered to tour the newly organized space and share in the vision and anticipated impact of the redesign. The event included an introduction to the space concept and a book donation activity involving books contributed by executives and staff. In line with KLRI’s ESG management efforts, a zero-waste wooden cup giveaway was also held to promote environmentally conscious practices.
President Yeong-Soo Han expressed his expectations, stating, “I hope the renovation of our lobby will help create a more open and creative research environment. We will continue to work toward establishing a culture of active communication and collaboration at the Institute.”
KLRI plans to implement a range of programs to further improve the research environment and advance ESG-based institutional management, beginning with this lobby renovation.
