The Inauguration Ceremony of Yeoung-Soo Han as the 14th President of KLRI

The inauguration ceremony of Yeoung-Soo Han, the 14th president of the Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI), took place at 10 a.m. on March 24 (Fri.) at the KLRI conference room.
President Han said in his inauguration speech, “KLRI has faithfully achieved the purpose stated in its articles of association to improve legal culture while supporting the national legislative policy with its excellent research power and accumulated research capabilities. We will do our best to push the envelope and go to the next level and to grow to be a global legislative research platform.”
President Han was appointed as the 14th President of the Korea Legislation Research Institute after the approval by the 339th Board of Directors of the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences (NRC) on March 23.
He served as Vice Minister of Government Legislation after serving in multiple important positions within the Ministry including Director-General for Planning and Coordination, Director-General of Legislative Policy Bureau, Director-General of Bureau of Legislation Support, and Director-General of Bureau of Statutory Information. His term of the office is three years, and his performance in management and research outcomes is subject to evaluation by the NRC.
