Korean Legislation Research Institute Signs Business Agreement with Nagoya University of Economics

On Thursday, March 21st, the Korean Legislation Research Institute (KLRI, President Yeong-soo Han) and Nagoya University of Economics (President Saburi Haruo) signed a 'Business Agreement for International Legal Cooperation and Joint Research Activation' at the Korean Legislation Research Institute.
  
According to this agreement, both institutions have pledged to conduct various network-based legal reviews and joint research initiatives through legislative support.
  
Furthermore, they plan to establish a sustainable international cooperation framework through expanding professional education and building a joint network.
  
KLRI, President Yeong-soo Han of the Korean Legislation Research Institute expressed significance in signing the MOU with Nagoya University of Economics, stating, "It is meaningful to collaborate with Nagoya University of Economics, which endeavors to conduct multifaceted reviews of foreign laws." He further emphasized, "Through this agreement, the Korean Legislation Research Institute and Nagoya University of Economics will activate international legal cooperation and joint research, contributing to achieving rational legislative support aligned with international standards."
  
Following this, the first session of the 2024 Legal Expert Invited Lecture (MILE) was held, featuring special lectures by Professor Ichihashi Katsuya and Professor Sato Naoshi on the topic of 'Legislative Support Projects in Japan.'
