The Korea Legislation Research Institute held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the Korea Institute of Local Finance on August 24 to promote research exchange and cooperation between the two institutes.
At the ceremony, both parties have agreed to cooperate in formulating legislation on local finance and tax as well as ordinances on local finance and taxation system to foster autonomy of local governments and development in legislative systems.
Details of the agreement include ▲ joint research and survey on administrative and financial burden on local governments by enactment and revision of laws as well as on the statues and ordinances related to local finance and tax ▲ joint hosting of academic conferences including seminars, forums, and workshops and ▲ sharing of information and data such as academic information and publications.
