Memorandum of Understanding between KLRI and HSF Korea

Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI, President Kye-Hong Kim) and the   Hanns Seidel Stiftung Korea (HSF, Resident Rep. Dr. Bernhard Seliger) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 21 (Thur.) to expand mutual cooperation for research works and the enhancement of academic capabilities.
 
The main items agreed include sharing, utilizing, and exchanging research information, research reports and other data; holding joint academic events, seminars and forums; and providing advice on research projects and pending issues. 
 
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Kim and Dr. Seliger along with attendees of the two organizations. The attendees were Hyun-Sook Cha (Director of Future Legislation Office), Ji-Seong Ryu (Team Manager of Unification Legislation Team) and Won-Kyu Jang(Senior Research Fellow) from KLRI and Hyun-Ah Choi (Senior Researcher) and Young-Soo Kim(Project Manager) from the HSF Korea. 
 
The HSF Korea has been actively engaged in activities related to environmental protection and to reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula including sharing experiences of German division and unification since 1987.
 
The two organizations plan this completion of the MoU to be an opportunity for further cooperation and exchanges toward peaceful unification of two Koreas and international environmental network.
