The 4th Regular Workshop on 2021 Legislative Evaluation Research Project (XV)

Korea Legislation Research Institute (President Kye-Hong Kim) held the 4th Workshop on the 2021 Legislative Evaluation Research Project (XV) at the KLRI Conference Room 1 on April 7 (Wed.), 2pm. The event was broadcast live online for the KLRI people to participate freely. 
 
Eun-Young Kim, a visiting researcher at KLRI (also Director-General of Ministry of Government Legislation), presented on the theme of ‘Legal Evaluation from the aspect of Legislative Drafting Review Standard (I)’. In her lecture, she covered such subjects as ▲Administrative Coercion ▲Subsidiary, Contribution, Investment, Loan ▲ Tax Law ▲Financial Accounting System ▲Fund ▲Entitlement ▲Examination ▲Committee ▲Special Corporation, and ▲Administrative Guidance.
 
After the announcement, the participants exchanged questions and discuss on the requirements for the amendment of ordinance, sanctions on qualified people, and category of Committees and Commissions. 
 
KLRI holds a workshop on legislative evaluation on a regular basis with  invited foreign and domestic experts in the relevant field in order for contributing to better legislative evaluation by sharing their experiences and know-how. With the first workshop on February 10 (Guest Speaker: Professor In-Yeop Ji at Dongguk University Department of Economics), there have been four regular workshops. The final 6th workshop is scheduled to be on April 28.
