KLRI held ‘2021 International Academic Conference on Social Values’.

Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI, President Kye-Hong Kim) held the 2021 International Conference on Social Values with Konkuk University Institute of Legal Studies and  Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) in the KRIHS’s auditorium on the Sept. 14 (Tue).
 
The conference was part of the business of Social Value Legislation Team that KLRI has carried out to seek diverse ways of placing social values into legislation which is also one of top 100 priorities of the current government. 
 
Three presenters spoke on Community Ownership and Management System on Properties in the US; Canada's Housing Cooperatives and Community Land Trust System; and Korea's Cases of Social Real Estate and Legal and Institutional Support under the theme of ‘Measures to Revitalize Social Real Estate for Social Values: Focusing on the United States, Canada, and Korea.’ 
 
Eight discussants including KLRI Senior Research Fellow Jun-Seo Lee had in-depth discussion after the presentation session.
