KLRI held a joint academic conference on “Legislative Re-evaluation and International Trends on Family System in Diverse Society”

Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI, President Kye-Hong Kim), HUFS Law Research  Institute, and Korea-Vietnam-Indonesia Law Culture Research Institute held a joint academic conference under the theme of “Legislative Re-evaluation and International Trends on Family System in Diverse Society” at the law center 101 and 1101 of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies on both June 30(Thu.) and July 1(Fri.).
 
The event was organized to discuss the legislative measures for various types of family such as cross-cultural family, single household and unmarried couple, etc. Experts from Korea, Germany, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Brazil attended to have a heated discussion on legislative system following the change of family institution.
 
Meanwhile, as the new types of family comes out, Korea Legislation Research Institute has been conducting a "Research on the legal acceptance and protection of various family types" to propose legislative solutions to prevent discrimination against them and resolve blind spots of support.
