KLRI held the Legislative Policy Forum inviting Jae-Chul Yoo, Vice Minister of Environment

Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI, President Kye-Hong Kim) hold the 50th Legislative Policy Forum under the theme of “Major Legislative Issues of the Ministry of Environment for Realizing Carbon Neutrality”,  inviting Jae-Chul Yoo, Vice Minister of Environment as the presenter at the Rose room of the Intercontinental Grand Seoul Parnas on July 20. (Wed, 7a,m.)
 
In the keynote speech, Vice Minister Jae-Chul Yoo, stresses the necessity to transit to the circular economic society, explaining the main contents of the “Act on the Promotion of Transformation into a Circular Economic Society.” Also, he introduces the policy directions in the field of biogas and shares the current status of relevant laws and legislation.
 
In particular, Vice Minister Jae-Chul Yoo, emphasizes that the biogas is the pivotal reusable energy not only to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas but to realize the carbon neutrality, explaining the necessity to enact the relevant laws.  
 
Meanwhile, the KLRI has been holding the Legislative Policy Forum as a ground for sharing the legislative achievements and discovering new legislative tasks with  experts in various fields. To date, experts such as Nak-In Sung, former president of Seoul National University, Kang-Seop Lee, former Minister of Government Legislation, and Ha-Joong Kim, former Chief of the National Assembly Research Service attended and presented various topics.
