On 9th and 10th of the June, the 10th Society of East Asia Administrative Law Conference, co-hosted by the KLRI (President Kim, Yoo Hwan) and the Society of East Asia Administrative Law (Board President, Choi Song Hwa) was held at Seoul Olympic Parktel, Olympia hall.
The Society of East Asia Administrative Law Conference is a biennial international conference held at Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan in rotation. Approximately 120 scholars and practitioners in public law from home and abroad are invited to attend the conference.
On the first day, the 9th of the June, a discussion on <Response for Globalization in Administrative Law> took place. Globalization has brought many changes in our daily lives and business culture, and the changes were in need of new ways of interpretation and legislation. On the second day, <Financial Administrative Law and Welfare State> was the main theme. There was a discussion on financial problems which is becoming a rising issue in the political community including the welfare services affecting the contents and system of the administrative law.
A total of 300 scholars majoring in administrative law and public law, from home and abroad, attended the conference. It was a meaningful day for scientific exchanges in East Asian region.
